Easter

First: Ella is 9 months old today! I can't believe it has gone by so quickly and so slowly at the same time. She is crazy and wants everything I have. She loves my jewelery and I am waiting for her to inadvertently strangle me or tear hoops through my earlobes. She is very cute though and we love her very much. She managed to swiped her daddy's hat. The look on her face says, 'What? Me? I don't know where this hat came from!' She know she isn't supposed to have it!!

I hunted all creation for a POOFY Easter dress for Ella that cost less than $50. She was so pretty in this! She is totally reclined and lazy in Daddy's arms!

Ella with the egg she found. She mostly chewed it. Easter bunny (aka Brent) hid eggs and baskets for us and Ella and I hunted them. Holidays are so much more fun with her. She gets so excited!

We had an awesome Easter weekend!! First we spent Saturday at the Bowler’s house. Ella loved being the center of attention! All her Bowler Aunts and Uncles played and loved on her the whole day. I was an IDIOT and forgot my camera, so I don’t have any of the cute pictures of Ella with her Uncles. Amy got a bunch of really cute ones!!
That same day we braved the light drizzle and went to the good ole fair. Ella was strapped to my chest in her snuggli and was kicking and squealing at everything. She loved the crazy chicken that was crowing at her. She laughed at it for a whole five minutes. It was also very ugly and had this big tuft of feathers, so it added to the humor. Unfortunately, once again, I was an IDIOT and forgot my camera!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

My Dad's birthday is actually the 6th, but we celebrated early so everyone could be there. He is 47 years young!

When the cat'saway...

Ella was left alone momentarily while I washed my hands after a particularly NASTY diaper. When I came back this is what I found. Ella had pushed herself up, made her way to her bow basket and laid waste to the whole thing. Naughty little kitty!

Good Bye and Good Luck

Last night was our end of the year cheer banquet and my final act as MVHS Cheer coach. I was hired to coach the B team 2 years ago and progressed to JV the next year. One of my sole responsibilities was to travel on the bus with the team. I wouldn't leave Ella that long and that late into the night once she arrived, so I have decided that it is time to move aside for some one who can and will. It isn't fair to Denise or the girls. SO, good bye girls! I cared very much about each and everyone of you, each of you differently, but I did care. I'm not one (anymore) for public displays of emotion so I merely smiled at everyone last night. But I am sad and I will miss my little cheeries very much...especially the cute ones I liked!! For those select few I didn't... see ya suckers!! hehe

ALSO Ella is 8 months today! She is such a big girl now. She is so fun and so cute! I thought I would include a picture.

My sister tagged (?) me on 10 worthless things about me Here it goes:
1. I am honest. Don't ask me if those pants make your butt look big or if you have too much make up on, if you don't want to know, because I'll tell you.

2. I am kind of anti-social. I would be perfectly content to live in a remote mountain cave somewhere.

3. I swear. Not like a construction worker but not like an old lady!!

4. I am fiercely loyal. Don't mess with my loved ones or suffer the consequence. If you are my friend, always know I would defend you forever.

5. I am deeply annoyed by people who complain about being poor, but get massages and pedicures and wear designer clothes. Hello, put down your Holister shopping bag and go to Walmart, then you can afford your power bill.

8. I look just like my mom and dad but nothing like my brother and sister. Go figure.

9. I have freakishly short legs. That's no big secret, anyone who has seen me knows! Your legs are supposed to be longer than your torso but mine are the same length. Everyone is impressed I am so flexible but it's only because I have less distance to go.

10. I have many feline qualities, including a hairball problem and hissing. I have always believed that I was a cat in a previous life. Ask Doug Totten about the time I bit him.
