Ella had her 9 month check up today... a few weeks late. She weighed 16 1/2 pounds and was 26 1/2 inches long. 10%tile for both weight and height. She took a dip in her percentile but the doctor said she was healthy, just little. She is petite too. Every time I go to the mall or somewhere that people don't know us, everyone thinks she is only 5 or 6 months old. Plus she still has no teeth!! I'm okay with that because toothless grins are so much cuter.
Things Ella loves:
1. Food! Her favorite is Pears and Pineapple mixed. She says "MMMM!!" the whole time.
2. Grandma Alderete. She loved on her all day at church on Sunday. I wish I had my camera it was so cute.
3. Blocks. She likes to wreck the building that Uncle Jordan and Daddy build.
4. Naps. She went from NEVER sleeping to one week of hell while I forced her to sleep in her crib, and wake up less at night. Now she has done SOOO good.
5. Walks. She loves to watch the cars go buy.
6. My mom's old cat Icky. She can watch her forever and just laughs and laughs.
7. She likes to go for rides in the car.
8. Bath time.
9. The swing.
Things she HATES:
1. People older than 55. I think the bouffant hair scares her...it scares me!
2. Potatoes.
3. African Americans. I don't know why.
She is doing good! She can't crawl yet but she "inch worms" her way around. Hopefully one day she'll just figure it out!! She is extremely cute and we love her!! She makes us smile all day long.

Shouldn't This Be Easier?
I started shaving when I was 10 years old. I know that sound very young but if you would have seen my legs, you would have let me do it too! I have a little Spanish blood in me and if I didn't shave 4 times a week I would be a Yeti in no time! (FYI: I also shave my arms because if I didn't they would be hairier than my husband) But the questions is.... If I have been doing this for almost 15 years, why do I constantly CUT myself! I can not shave with out my shower drain looking like a clip from the movie Psycho! I am scarred all over my knees and ankles from nasty razor bites. I take my time and try to be overly cautious. But still!! Blood everywhere. By the time I am 40 I am worried I will have no leg left. Hmmm...if that's the case maybe I will start shaving my love handles!

Easter
First: Ella is 9 months old today! I can't believe it has gone by so quickly and so slowly at the same time. She is crazy and wants everything I have. She loves my jewelery and I am waiting for her to inadvertently strangle me or tear hoops through my earlobes. She is very cute though and we love her very much. She managed to swiped her daddy's hat. The look on her face says, 'What? Me? I don't know where this hat came from!' She know she isn't supposed to have it!!
Ella loves stroller rides. She loves to look around at everything!
I hunted all creation for a POOFY Easter dress for Ella that cost less than $50. She was so pretty in this! She is totally reclined and lazy in Daddy's arms!
Ella with the egg she found. She mostly chewed it. Easter bunny (aka Brent) hid eggs and baskets for us and Ella and I hunted them. Holidays are so much more fun with her. She gets so excited!
We had an awesome Easter weekend!! First we spent Saturday at the Bowler’s house. Ella loved being the center of attention! All her Bowler Aunts and Uncles played and loved on her the whole day. I was an IDIOT and forgot my camera, so I don’t have any of the cute pictures of Ella with her Uncles. Amy got a bunch of really cute ones!!
That same day we braved the light drizzle and went to the good ole fair. Ella was strapped to my chest in her snuggli and was kicking and squealing at everything. She loved the crazy chicken that was crowing at her. She laughed at it for a whole five minutes. It was also very ugly and had this big tuft of feathers, so it added to the humor. Unfortunately, once again, I was an IDIOT and forgot my camera!!
